When you upgrade to have emails on your WebStarts account, you can have up to 10 custom domain name specific emails. You can use these addresses to setup different employees and/or departments within your company. In this article I will explain to you how to setup these email accounts step by step.
Step 1: Log in to your account and click on the mail icon located on the my account dashboard. The mail icon is a picture of the envelope. Please note that you must upgrade to have emails and setup your domain name before you can begin creating your email accounts. It can take up to 48 hours for your mail account to become active after choosing a domain name for your website and you will be notified by email when the process is complete.
Step 2: Log in to your primary email address and choose the option to manage this domain located under . After you’ve clicked on the email icon you’ll need to log in with your primary email address. Your primary email address username and password was emailed to you when your domain name was configured. Your username will be whatever you entered as your first name while signing up for your WebStarts account. Your password will be the same password you use to login to your WebStarts account. Once you’re logged in click on the ‘Mange This Domain’ link found on the right side of the inbox (looks like a little gear).
Step 3: Choose the option to create new user. After clicking the manage this domain link a new window will open with your admin tools. Locate the link labeled ‘Create new users’. Click on the link and you will then be able to enter the first and last name you would like to use with the new email account. You will also be able to choose a username. Whatever you choose for their username is what their email address will be. For example: (username@webstarts.com). You can then choose to use the temporary password generated by the email program or set your own password. Once you’ve completed these steps click the button labeled ‘Create new user’ and the account is created. You can then repeat this process to create additional email accounts.
