The WebStarts shopping cart system allows you to process secure credit card transactions online. If you do not want to use a payment gateway to accept credit cards, you can always use paypal to process your transactions. It is a great idea to accept paypal even if you are accepting credit cards as many have paypal accounts for their online transactions. To setup your WebStarts shopping cart to accept payments via paypal, us the following steps:

Step 1: Log into your shopping cart account and click the “Settings” tab.

Step 2: Click the “Ecommerce” tab and enter your paypal email address. You can get a free paypal account from www.paypal.com

Step 3: Select “Yes” from the drop down: “Accept PayPal Payments?”

Step 4: Click “Save” to save your changes

Set Up Return URL

In addition to the steps above, you will need to add your WebStarts Shopping Cart account return URL to your PayPal account. This is done to ensure that once a sale is made through PayPal, the user is redirected back to your own shopping cart payment receipt.

Step 1: Log in and click the Profile subtab under My Account.

Step 2: Click the My Selling Tools tab on the left panel.

Step 3: Click to Update your Website preferences.

Step 4: Click the radio button to On to enable Auto Return.

Step 5: Enter the following Return URL: https://webstartsshoppingcart.com/shopping-cart/cart/thankyou.php and then save your changes at the bottom of the page.
